Get on the passports A. S. A. P. We have lodging reserved in San Jose but contact us about lodging in Punta Uva. You will need to make a reservation yourself. Call Cabinas Punta Uva or have us call for you. Look into airfare (Kayak, Spiritair, Frontier).

The post office is now saying up to 14 weeks. Terry and I know people at the 20-week mark. The delays for these things is getting ridiculous. I know people that have had to wait at a regional office for their passports that were still in delay because their destination wedding or honeymoon was in a week.
Don’t procrastinate!
If you plan on coming to our wedding and don’t have a passport I suggest you get in gear and apply for it soon.

e e cummings was a poet from back in the day. He wrote some beautiful, some sexy things. His grammar is less that of the written word and more that of thought, I think. His poetry reads the way the heart leaps. And so here is a poem of his on the subject of marriage, which partly explains why we’re doing what we are, the way we are.
For those of you who adhere to the traditional wedding practices, please do not begrudge me my feelings, for they are for my wedding – our wedding – and not yours. For everyone, the most important and relevant thing is to make of their ceremony, their day, their time, whatever they wish to make of it. Typical, traditional, conventional is no less beautiful than anything else, if it is what is wanted. Disclaimer made, and feelings hopefully preserved, here is the poem.
