We will be taking the direct bus from San Jose (Terminal Gran Caribe) to Puerto Viejo. It's a comfortable ride and we can make drinks on the way down!

The bus runs direct from SJ to PV with no stops (except for the break). There is storage underneath for luggage, and the seats are really comfy. The San Jose stop is near Hotel Aranjuez, and the Puerto Viejo stop is right in front of the post office by the shore. They don't operate a website, but their schedule is posted here.
